Our mission is to establish and sustain a worldwide movement and platform dedicated to nurturing the musical and cultural identity of Jamaica, both within the country and across the diaspora.
About Our School
Dub School serves as the epicenter of dub music education and expression in Kingston, Jamaica and globally.
We offer comprehensive voice coaching and assistance, guiding all our students in refining their musical skills, be it their vocal abilities or instrumental prowess. What’s remarkable is that we provide these services entirely free of charge.
At Dub School, our classes and students are categorised as follows:
- Freshers: Individuals who are just beginning their journey in the reggae music sub-genre of dub music.
- Intermediaries: Students who are in the growing in their knowledge and practice (performance included) of dub music.
- Alumni: Those who are professionally engaged in the music industry and have honed their skills within the Dub School environment at some point within their journey.
